What Supervisors Need to Know About Discriminatory Harassment (AB 1825 Version)

We have created a version of our award winning course, What Supervisors Need to Know About Discriminatory Harassment, that helps bring your organization into compliance with California’s sexual harassment training law, reduces unlawful workplace harassment and helps create affirmative defenses.

For more information about AB 1825, California’s law mandating sexual harassment prevention training, click here.

The course is designed to instruct supervisors on how to identify potential problems related to sexual harassment and to follow your organization’s harassment prevention policy.

The course utilizes the same engaging interface, effective instructional design and practical workplace scenarios as our other sexual harassment prevention training. It also offers the same customization opportunities, such as scenarios focusing on different issues (including sexual orientation discrimination) and scenarios set in different workplace environments.

In addition, however, our AB 1825 course has features crafted by our employment law team to help ensure that your organization’s training is AB 1825 compliant.

For example:

Two Hour Duration

Required Training Content                                                   (Read more)

Refresher Course in Discriminatory Harassment With New Material!

California's AB 1825 requires that employers provide training to supervisors every 2 years.

To help your organization effectively meet this requirement, HRTrain offers the ability to provide a “refresher course” utilizing new material for supervisors who have already completed our course during a previous training period.  If you are a new client, ask about purchasing the refresher course along with initial training.

Is California the only state that requires sexual harassment prevention training?

No. Currently Maine and Connecticut also require training. HRTrain has created training to help bring your organization into compliance with the requirements of these states as well. Contact Rena Cohen Kozin, Vice President, Sales at (888) HRTrain ext. 313 to discuss our Maine and Connecticut training solutions.

What if our organization wants to train supervisors in more than one state?

No problem. You can let us know where your users are located or we can set up your training so that users identify whether they are located in the relevant states. They will then automatically be assigned to the correct course. Their Certificate of Completion will identify the version of the course they have completed.
