Your organization has a legal responsibility to engage in an interactive process when addressing an employee request for a reasonable accommodation due to a protected disability. Also, organizations with more than 50 employees may have an obligation under the Family and Medical Leave Act to provide employees FMLA leave required by a serious health condition or other reasons. Supervisors and Managers need to know about your organization's obligations or your organization may be held liable. This course will sensitize supervisors, managers and human resource professionals about your organizations' obligations under the ADA and FMLA. The course will be tailored and include your organizations leave policies including policies related to vacations, sick time, personal leaves etc.
