Employee and Supervisor Versions

HRTrain offers two versions of its award-winning discriminatory harassment prevention training - one for supervisors and one for your general workforce. What's the difference?

  • Both courses sensitize participants on the key aspects of unlawful workplace discriminatory harassment and stress the importance of following your organization's discriminatory harassment prevention policy.
  • What Supervisors Need To Know About Discriminatory Harassment also contains additional subject matter relevant to a supervisor's role in protecting your organization from sexual harassment. For example, the supervisory version stresses the importance of proper documentation of work performance, the prohibition against unlawful retaliation, the importance of uniformly enforcing your harassment prevention policy and a supervisor's unique role as the eyes and ears of the employer.
  • Also, our supervisory training is designed to help your organization comply with state law harassment prevention training requirements, such as those for California's AB1825.

Refresher Course in Discriminatory Harassment With New Material!

The burden has shifted to your organization to prove that you have exercised reasonable care to correct any sexually harassing behavior.

Almost everyone would agree that "one shot training" will not be viewed as "reasonable care." It is impractical to repeatedly train the same employees with the same material. For ongoing training, you should train your employees with material that will reinforce the initial training, but that is not completely identical to the original training.

HRTrain provides you with the solution. Our "refresher" course is a mini-course with new material for the employee who has already been certified in our complete course. If you are a new client, ask us about purchasing the complete course along with the refresher course.
